Son innumerables las biografías en torno a este mítico personaje y que a pesar de esto, se cierne sobre él un fondo de leyenda mitad realidades y mitad fantasía que realmente no nos debe extrañar por estar acorde con quien pasó a la historia como uno de los más prolíficos, contradictorios e influyentes cultivadores de la imaginación infantil y de los no tan infantiles.
